Who We Are
Newcomers Club of Greater Huntsville (NCGH) is a women's social nonprofit 501(c)(7) organization dedicated to the mission of extending the hand of friendship to those who have
recently relocated to the Huntsville area. Our events and activities provide
opportunities to meet others sharing common interests. New friends are waiting for
you at NCGH!
On September 25, 1980 thirteen founding members met and formed the Greater
Huntsville Newcomers Club, or as we know it today, the Newcomers Club of Greater
Huntsville "to promote friendship among newcomers and to help them become
adjusted to their community." Throughout the years, the Club has evolved but our
mission has remained the same: Our goal is to promote friendship and shared
interests among new and long-time members and develop an appreciation for all
Huntsville has to offer.
We have many diverse interest groups and opportunities for participation in the
