Costs: Adults - $10; Children 3-10 - $7; Children 2 and under - Free
Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of great food, games, laughter, friendly competition, and the chance to spend time with old friends and make some new ones!
We're firing up the grill at 11 am and serving food until 1 pm.
Food: Enjoy a classic summer picnic featuring:
- Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers fresh off the grill!
- Hot dogs with all the fixings
- Variety of salads, prepared by our Picnic Committee
- Baked beans, from two talented cook with their signature beans
- Chips and snacks treats
- Sweet treats of ice cream, brownies and other desserts
Beverage: Bottled water will be provided. Please bring any other beverage you would like including alcohol. Please consume responsibly.
Games: Get ready for some friendly competition! Games for kids, adults and everyone in between. Challenge your friends to Cornhole, test your skills with Frisbee Throw, team up for Change Clothes Relay, try your luck in Egg Toss or have "oversized" excitement with the crowd favorite Granny Pants game. Can you outsmart the crowd in What Came First?
Prizes and Raffles: Where there are games there are prizes. And there's a chance to win exciting raffle baskets or our popular Pot of Gold drawing. (Don't forget to bring a few $1 bills so you can easily join in.)
Location & access: The picnic area is on Redstone Arsenal which requires a pass. Tena Stacy, Lindsey Olinger, and Carol Van Putten Vink will have visitor passes available for you. You must enter through Gate 9. You can also look into getting a recreational pass. There will be a separate email to those who register with detailed directions.
Please bring a camp chair, beach chair or other portable chair so you can relax and enjoy the picnic. (If you have any extra folding chairs to use at the dining tables, please contact Lindsey Olinger lindseyolingerncgh@yahoo.com.)
Last day to register or cancel is Monday, June 22, 9 PM. If you must cancel, please contact Carol Van Putten Vink.
