"POP" - Personal Orientation Program
Are you new to the club?
Join us for our monthly POP event to meet other new members and learn about the club.
This Month:
POP is Marching in the Parade—Come Join the Fun! Hop on board with us for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Huntsville on Saturday, March 14, 2026!

Whether you're Irish by heritage or just for the day, it's the perfect way to celebrate with green, cheer, and good vibes. POP joins the Parade, as we march as part of the Newcomers of Greater Huntsville community, spreading smiles and Irish spirit all along the route. Dress code: Wear your best green!
Schedule for the Day:
- 9:15 – 10:30 am: Decorate the truck and float
- 11:00 am: Parade kicks off
The route is about 1.6 miles and should take 45–60 minutes.
Ways to participate:
- Help us decorate!
- Ride in the back of the truck or float (limited)
- Walk the route and hand "goodies" to the kids (while spreading that classic Irish cheer!)
- Cheer us from the sidelines!
